CMSL Referee Information
CMSL offers league play for both boys and girls ages U9 to U18 each season. Complete the online registration form to submit your availability for the current season. If you have any questions, email cmslassignor@charter.net. Your referee assignors are Sean or Misti Hollrah, 573-639-0217 or 573-639-0237.

If you play on, coach or are associated with a team, put the name of the team, club name & age group in the section on the form.
If there are changes to your schedule after it has been submitted, submit another online registration or notify us by email or phone.
All communication is done by email. You will need to confirm your assignments for each weekend. If we don’t receive confirmation for assigned games you will be removed from the game(s). Please indicate on the online registration form the dates and times that you will NOT BE AVAILABLE to work as a referee.
Once you have received your match assignment schedule, please check it carefully. You will need to email back or call if you accept or decline your assignments. EITHER WAY, PLEASE LET US KNOW. If you cannot fulfill an assignment you have accepted or find out you cannot make it, please inform us IMMEDIATELY and NO LATER THAN 24 HOURS before game time so a suitable replacement can be made. Not showing up for a confirmed game and short notice will be taken into consideration for all future assignments.
You must check-in prior to your first assigned game 30 minutes prior to kick-off, if you are going to be late, please call the supervisor for that day (phone number will be posted on the game assignment sheet). If you are late, you run the risk of being replaced for that game and all of your scheduled games for that day. Again, if you are going to be late, CALL US!

Match fees are processed every Sunday evening. The quickest and preferred way to get paid is to sign up for Direct Deposit.
If you have elected to receive your paycheck via Direct Deposit, you will receive your paycheck no later than Thursday of the following week. (For example, if you refereed on May 12th, you will have your paycheck in your bank account no later than May 16th.) Direct Deposit authorization form must be received one week prior to the first weekend that you referee. You may download the form and send it to:

If you prefer to have a paper check, they are processed in two weekend increments and will be available to pick up on the field at the next scheduled games. CHECKS WILL NOT BE MAILED UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON, UNLESS YOU PROVIDE CMSL WITH A SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE FOR EACH WEEKEND THAT YOU REFEREED.
Please submit a self-addressed stamped envelope at the beginning of the season so we can send you your final season game count at the end of the season.
Each referee under the age of 16 must provide to CMSL a work permit authorization. Your permit must be on file in order to be assigned any games. Forms are available above. If you have previously filled out a form, let me know and make sure I have it on file.
For Your Information
Referees are expected to dress professionally: USSF Referee shirt with current badge, all back shorts and black socks (three white stripes or smilie face), dark colored tennis shoes, pen, whistle and watch. Shirts MUST be tucked in and socks pulled up.
Referees will be at the assigned games 30 minutes prior to the designated start time. If you are running late, please call and let us know. If you play and then referee, remind us that you have a game before you play and then please get to the game your refereeing as quickly as possible.
